Common questions

How does Residay count my days?

Residay counts your physical presence against the official rule for your specific visa. The qualifying period, rolling window, and how departure and return days are treated all vary by visa. Add your trips once and the dashboard shows days used, days remaining, and your worst rolling window automatically.

Do my trips sync between my phone and the web app?

Yes. The mobile app works offline first, so your trips are stored on your device and calculations run locally, even with no signal at the border. When you reconnect, changes sync to your account so the web app stays up to date.

Is Residay legal or immigration advice?

No. Residay is a planning and tracking aid. Always confirm against official government guidance or a qualified immigration adviser before relying on any figure for an application.

How do I delete my account and data?

Open Settings, then Account, on the web app and choose Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, trips, and calculations. You can also email us and we will action it for you.
